Instructional Programs

Youth Programs Instructional Programming provides targeted instructional programs for children and youth 3 years through the end of their senior year in high school. Children and youth have equal access to opportunities to expand their knowledge, inspire them, allow them to explore and acquire new skills in performing and visual arts, academics, recreation, life skills, fitness and health.

Benefits and Developmental Outcomes

Partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and 4-H curriculum & initiatives, participants in our programs develop: respect for self & others, creativity, teamwork, goal-setting, healthy relationships, personal safety, positive self-identity, coordination, self-motivation, appreciation for knowledge and discipline.

Eligibility Requirements

Participation eligibility is contingent on the status of the sponsor to include: active duty military, DoD civilian employees either NAF or APF, Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve military personnel on active duty or inactive duty training status, active duty Coast Guard members, combat related wounded warriors, surviving spouses of military members who died from a combat-related incident, those acting in loco parentis for the dependent child of an otherwise eligible patron, eligible employees of DoD contractors, and others who may be authorized on a space available

Registration Information

New Parent Portal Account Registration:

All parents with an account to the Parent Portal must sign in on the website to register for Instructional Programs by clinking this link or copy and paste in your browser: https://parent.afcyp.com/

All new parents without an account to the Parent Portal must contact Youth Programs at 757.878.2662 to receive an invitation to the Parent Portal website.

  • Payment for the session must be made at time of registration

Parent Orientation Required

Parent/Youth Center orientation is held every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Parents will receive a Welcome Letter with specific class rules from their instructor on the first day of class.

Fort Eustis Instructional Programs is always looking to enhance and grow our programming opportunities. If you, or someone you know, is interested in offering a class please have them contact our offices for an instructor application packet.
