Anderson Field House is Fort Eustis’ premier fitness and sports complex—designed to help you stay mission-ready and active year-round. The facility features a full-size basketball court, weight and cardio rooms, indoor track, lap pool, and multipurpose spaces for group fitness classes and special events. From personal training and intramural sports to 5K runs and health-focused programs, there’s something for every fitness level.

Offering everything you need to stay active, train hard, and have fun. From state-of-the-art weight and boxing areas to indoor lap swimming, turf running lanes, and outdoor TRX training, there’s something for every fitness level. Whether you’re working on strength, endurance, or recreation, you’ll find the space, gear, and support to help you reach your goals.
Fitness Facilities
- Free Weights Area
Squat racks, Smith machine, assorted free weight machines, flat/incline/decline benches, bars and plate weights, dumbbells, and cable cross-over station. -
Circuit Training Room
17 circuit training machines, kettlebells, medicine balls, dumbbells, body bars, BOSU balls, and exercise balls—perfect for total-body workouts. -
Boxing Area
Equipped with heavy bags, speed bags, and a free-standing bag for strength and endurance training. -
Outdoor TRX Workout Locker
Includes weight bench, bumper plates, Olympic bars, sleds, kettlebells, medicine balls, TRX suspension trainers, TRX Rip trainers, battle ropes, sandbags, tires, and sledgehammers for high-intensity training.
Lap Pool
25-Meter Indoor Lap Pool (5 Lanes)
Great for lap swimming and endurance training.

Stay motivated and move together with our group exercise classes! Spin classes are offered exclusively at Anderson Field House, while other popular classes like HIIT, yoga, and bootcamp take place at McClellan Fitness Center. With options for every fitness level, you can join the community, have fun, and crush your fitness goals—plus, punch cards are available to save on your visits!
