Lap swim or family fun? The choice is yours at the JBLE Aquatic Center!

Make a splash in our Adventure Pool, complete with a three-story water slide, mushroom waterfall, whirlpool, and lazy river—perfect for all-ages fun. For fitness-focused swimmers, we have two lap pools on post great for lap swimming and training. Whether you’re diving into a workout or making memories with the family, we’ve got you covered!

Off-season hours are in effect September through May. Check back here, our Facebook page, or give us a call on updated hours through out the year.

Know before you go! Here are frequently asked questions about our adventure pool.

Why do we take reservations? Reservations help us manage capacity so everyone can swim safely and enjoy a better experience without overcrowding. Safety is always first.

Why is there breaks between hours? Breaks between swim sessions allow our team time to reset the pool, check safety conditions, and keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone.

Monthly fun events all year long

Enjoy fun all year long at the Aquatics Center with our monthly and seasonal events! From themed swim nights to holiday celebrations, there’s always something exciting for kids and families to dive into. Check out our yearly calendar of all our events. Call for more info and to make reservations for the Adventure Pool events. Outdoor Pool events don’t require reservations and is weather-permitted.

Make a Splash at the JBLE Outdoor Pool every summer

Cool off this summer at the JBLE Outdoor Pool, conveniently located at 2124 Pershing Ave, behind the Fort Eustis Club.

Open seasonally (May through September) and free to access, it’s the perfect spot to swim, relax, and enjoy the sun with family and friends. Unlike the Adventure pool, reservations aren’t required. Hours are weather dependent and may change, so be sure to check back here or our Facebook page for updates and holiday hours before you visit.

Swim Lessons

Make a splash all season long with our youth swim lessons at the JBLE Aquatic Center! Our certified instructors offer fun, safe, and skill-based classes for all ages and levels. For children with basic swim skills, we will pair them with an instructor who will focus on technique and stroke development. Lifeguard Certification

Become a certified lifeguard and be ready to respond confidently in aquatic emergencies! Our three-day American Red Cross lifeguard and lifeguard review classes teach the essential skills and knowledge needed for professional water safety. The course also includes First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer—equipping you to protect and save lives both in and out of the water. Register today and take the first step toward becoming a hero!

The Perfect Party Starts Here!

Celebrate in style at our poolside party rooms! We now host two parties per day on Saturdays and Sundays, accommodating up to 30 guests (including non-swimmers). Party hours are 11am–1pm, with swimming from 11am–12pm and party room time from 12–1pm.

Reserve your spot with a $25 deposit, which will be applied to your total party cost due on the day of your event. Book now and make your next celebration a memorable splash!
