Join us for an unforgettable summer experience filled with fun family activities by USO, local vendors, food trucks, and a diverse lineup featuring rock, Latin jazz, and R&B performances.

Band Line Up

6 Ways 2 Sunday (3pm-5pm)

6 WAYS 2 SUNDAY is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Their music features an eclectic mix of hits from classic rock to rhythm and blues that spans many generations. Formed in 2018, they have performed throughout Virginia. They are influenced by a variety of musicians including Santana, John Hiatt, Aretha Franklin, Fleetwood Mac and many other classic rock and r&b artists.

The Latin Jazz Conspiracy (5pm-7pm)

In the summer of 2007, Ernesto Laboy, Jordan Ponzi, and Eric Musselwhite formed The Latin Jazz Conspiracy to bring instrumental Latin jazz to the local scene. Blending jazz, pop, and Latin traditions, the group offers styles like bolero, samba, cha-cha, salsa, bossa nova, and Latin jazz standards. Known for their dynamic performances, they honor traditional rhythms while providing contemporary interpretations and original arrangements. The Latin Jazz Conspiracy invites all music lovers to experience their captivating sound and celebrate the fusion of music, dance, and culture.

The Fuzz Band (7pm-9pm)

The Fuzz Band, formed at Hampton University, fuses funk, jazz, and soul. Known for their high-energy performances, they have won local awards and gained national recognition from Black Enterprise and Rolling Stone. The nine-piece band has performed with artists like Alicia Keys and Lauryn Hill, and at major events, including President Obama’s inaugural ball and the Hampton Jazz Festival. They are currently working on their fifth studio album and continue to perform virtually. Find more about them here.

TRADOC Stage is located at 950 Jefferson Ave, right across the TRADOC building and in the main parking lot. There will be ample parking behind and in front of the stage. Click the map for directions.

Is this event free?

Yes! No ticket purchasing required. This event is free for our military community and its guests.

Is the event open to everyone?

The event is open to everyone with base access. Individuals outside the military community are required to get sponsored by a DoD ID holder. All parties must visit the Visitor’s Center during office hours to receive access to avoid delays and being turned around at the gate.

All non-DoD personnel aged 18 and above will undergo a criminal history check using VCIN/NCIC to obtain base access. Reference https://www.jble.af.mil/Home/Base-Access/ for additional details. 

Can we bring our own chairs?

Yes! We highly encourage you to bring your lawn chairs or a picnic blanket to sit and enjoy the music!

Is there an age restriction for this event?

All ages are welcome to enjoy the fun! All under-aged children must be supervised by an adult. 

Will there be food & drinks for sale?

Absolutely! Our Summer Flea Market will feature a variety of food vendors for you to enjoy. You’re also welcome to bring your own food, but please be responsible and dispose of your trash properly.

What should I do if I lose something at the event?

Reach out to the event staff or security on-site for assistance. 

What about inclement weather?

Rain or shine, the show must go on! Be sure to be prepared and bring an umbrella or back up covering.
